The Sounds es una banda sueca relativamente nueva y desconocida, que ha sacado dos discos (arriba teneis la portadas: Living in America, del 2003, y Dying to say this to you, del año pasado, al cual pertenece la canción que os pongo) con un sonido simple y directo, incluso básico, y sin embargo, sus dos discos son tan buenos que en los últimos meses los he escuchado muchísimo sin que lleguen a aburrirme. El grupo desarrolla un sonido pop-rock con una notable influencia punk en las guitarras y ritmos: ¿pop con actitud punk o punk con actitud punk? Da igual; el caso es que es de lo que más escucho ahora. Un toque retro a lo Blondie y similitudes con grupos actuales como Morningwood (con los cuales han hecho una gira hace poco, y de los cuales os pondré una canción mañana!) o Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Me encantan. (Posiblemente otro día os ponga otra canción suya porque es que tienen muchos hits...).
