In this episode, we turn the spotlight inward.

We unpack recent guest feedback that challenged Steve’s mindset — specifically the belief that he may not yet see himself succeeding beyond a high single-figure handicap. While confronting, there’s truth in it, and it opens the door to a deeper conversation about self-belief, ceilings we subconsciously set, and why mindset will be a key development focus moving into 2026.

Andy then reflects on a recent round where ongoing swing changes were difficult to trust under pressure. We explore why committing to change is often harder than making the change itself, and how doubt can creep in when results don’t immediately show up on the scorecard.

Finally, we tackle one of the biggest challenges facing everyday golfers: finding time for meaningful practice in the middle of busy work and life demands. We discuss why “doing more” isn’t the answer, and how clarity, intention, and realistic expectations matter more than hours logged.

This episode is about honesty, awareness, and recognising that sometimes the biggest thing holding our golf back… is us.

Lost Island of Atlantis, The by Edward Taylor Fletcher (1816 - 1897) LibriVox In this paper, read before the Literary and Historical Society, Quebec, Fletcher demonstrates methodically what he perceives as evidence for the existence of the island of Atlantis. He begins by documenting the historical instances Atlantis is referred to in ancient texts, even if only as a myth (Part 1), continues on to analyze linguistic elements that might indicate an Atlantean origin (Part 2), and also presents a connection between the American and the European fossil flora and amber fauna, suggesting that Atlantis is the missing link (Part 3). At the end, he makes mention of the deep-sea soundings of the Atlantic ocean and other geological findings (Part 4). The Lost Island, a poem by Fletcher, is included as Part 5 of this audiobook. - Summary by Rapunzelina Beyond The Surface with Angela Bertone: Your Spiritual Cardiologist Angela Quezada Bertone Join Angela Bertone on YouTube for her new podcast, "Beyond the Surface," where she explores the intersection of spirituality and science.
