Fast forward to 2024, and she’s an Accounting Specialist at Nussbaum in Bloomington, Illinois! Needless to say, a lot has happened in between. In today’s exchange, Addis shares a personal testimony of her adoption, transition to the US, and overcoming struggles that threatened to define her. That’s where the second adoption story comes in - and where Addis found a new identity and purpose in life.
