Forse tutti conoscete il modo di dire „andare a Canossa“, ecco questa frase ha origine proprio dalle vicende accadute all’epoca di Matilde e nei luoghi dove lei viveva. Matilde nasce nel 1046 da una famiglia molto potente, la famiglia dei Canossa, di origine longobarda.
