Ep 190: How To Stop Caring About What Other People Think!

from Woo Woo Wednesday · host Renee Dick

In today's episode, I'm tackling something we all deal with: the constant tug-of-war between being ourselves and worrying about what others think. You know the drill: we're afraid of stepping on toes, making waves, or rocking the boat. So, we end up muting our quirks, biting our tongues, and blending into the background. But guess what? It's time to ditch that mindset!  I'm sharing some real-talk steps to break free from the "people-pleasing" cycle, own your uniqueness, and start standing tall in your truth. So, grab a cuppa and join me for a chat that's all about finding the courage to be unapologetically YOU! C.S. Lewis's The Last Battle St. Philip's Church: Charleston, SC Come join us on Wednesday nights as we explore the riches of C.S. Lewis’s marvelous book The Last Battle, which is the last of The Chronicles of Narnia. It is a remarkable book on multiple levels and was awarded the Carnegie Medal back in the 1950s when it was first published. The Last Battle has some themes in common with The Great Divorce and That Hideous Strength that will make it an excellent follow-up to those two books, and like them, it has some remarkable resonance with things going on in today’s culture. It is a book that is both theologically rich and poignantly beautiful in its writing, and it can help equip us to live boldly for Christ in a culture that has lost its way. (Although this book is the last of The Chronicles of Narnia, it can stand on its own and it is not necessary to have read the other books for this class.) Just A Girl From The South Bronx Krystal Richards A show about funny anecdotes and life lessons I've learned in my 20s (and still learning).
