In this week's episode of Lite It Up, Dr. Aginah shares a few exciting updates about the podcast.  In addition to the great things on the horizon for Women Who Persevere and Lite It Up, Dr. Aginah also tackles several important issues. We’re concerned and overwhelmed about work, finances and quite frankly the uncertainty of how our families will be impacted moreover by the things to come. From a social justice perspective, as Black people, we continue to deal with the inequalities and injustices that plague our people at the hands of those in power. All of what we are experiencing is enough to take a toll on any one of us. It is important, now more than ever, that we get back to basics. In other words, as a community, as a people, we must return to previously held values of decency. We must concentrate on important ideas and goals. How do you do this? There are several things you can implement in your life to get back to basics. Dr. Aginah offers eight tips for listeners to get "back to basics".  Episode References:  Zora Magazine Mentions Lite It Up Podcast  Connect with Dr. Aginah M.
