Ep. 50 We React to Devastating News

In this episode Jason makes the guys guess what worst job on the Homestead he just did today. He shares about mic problems while filming. Jason orders 2,000 pounds of broiler feed and 1,000 pounds of turkey feed. He talks about how well his Napa cabbage is growing and they have eaten too much. Even the pigs are tired of it. He plans to put drip tape in the high tunnel. Al shares what he’s got planted in his garden and his frost advisory. His pond is stocked with trout. He talks about how he gets his fish and he fishes in his pond. He’s looking for a good recipe for smoked fish. Also Al shares some devastating news about one of his cows. Ben talks about his dream wood chipper. He loves it. He and the boys got the rest of the garden in. They also dug up their potatoes in the greenhouse. He says they are buttery and velvety.
