With his anthropology background and an extensive knowledge of bones, orthopedics and OMM were natural interests. Great osteopathic physicians such as Bob Ward influenced him with their abilities to diagnose and treat with the skills and empathy of their hands. Throughout his career he has seen the clinical benefits of OMT for his patients and has taken his experience and knowledge to the medical community in numerous countries throughout the world.
