Twenty years ago today, Ceil Folz had some tough decisions to make. On the eve of the opening ceremonies for the 2001 UCI World Mountain Bike Championships, terrorist attacked on U.S. soil. Listen in as Alex and Ceil take a walk down memory lane about 9/11, Ski Championships and Leadership.  Ceil Folz is Founder and CEO of Ceil Folz Consulting and CFC Collective. Ceil Folz Consulting is a company that provides strategic and creating solutions to elevate world class organizations, projects and events. Prior to creating her own company, Ceil served from 1999-2015 as President and CEO of the Vail Valley Foundation, a non-profit organization that promotes cultural, athletic and educational programs and endeavors to enhance and sustain the quality of life in the Vail Valley. She first joined the Vail Valley Foundation in 1989 assuming the overall responsibilities for the Foundation's athletic events, including annual World Cup skiing and mountain bike competitions, the American Ski Classic and the Jerry & Betty Ford Golf Classic. In addition, she served as the director of the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater and AEI World Forum. Ms. Folz has served on the boards of the Bravo! Vail Valley Music Festival, Ski Club Vail, Vail Valley Foundation, the Vail Valley Chamber of Commerce and WADA Clean Sport Foundation.
