On February 13, 2024, a man received a call from his grandchildren's school informing him that their mother, Kristina Joksimovic, a former Miss Switzerland finalist, had failed to pick them up. After collecting the children and bringing them back to their home, he searched the house for clues as to his daughter's whereabouts, and found a large black garbage bag in the basement laundry room. Trembling, he peeled back the plastic to make an absolutely gruesome discovery: Kristina’s signature cascade of golden blonde hair, still attached to her severed head. The horrifying sight raised countless questions, most hauntingly: What had happened to his beautiful daughter, and where was the rest of Kristina? The answers would soon reveal themselves in a manner that shocked and horrified the world. Because parts of Kristina’s remains were discovered soaking in a chemical solution, while others, devastatingly, had been pureed in a kitchen blender.
