Episode 109: Ciara McCormack

On this episode I am joined by the incredible Ciara McCormack.  We chat about being in a Champions League final squad, playing abroad and playing internationally for Ireland. We take a look at Ciara's role with Can PFA and how important it is for recognition from the CPL. We also talk about how important it is to have professional women's soccer in Canada too. Finally Ciara gives her thought on the Icelandic FA Board's mass resignation on the back of a sexual abuse scandal and how different it was with the case she brought forward for her fellow players in 2008 with the Whitecaps organization. We Ciara lets me know how thing have changed and also how many things have stayed the same with a lot of people involved being still in the game and the reaction to the blog she posted about the whole situation.
