Episode 126 - Darren Meenan Part 1

If you don't know Darren Meenan you will know him well after this 2 part episode. Darren is one of those types of people that when thrown a challenge or taking one on by his own drive, he works at it until the goal is reached. The 7 Line in particular is such an amazing story that I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't witness it myself at his office/warehouse on Long Island during this recording. Originally from Queens, Darren spent plenty of his youth as a NY Mets fan. When it came time to make some money Darren showed his true Long Island hustle that has become a common story with many of my interviews with the BMXers from the area. That hustle landed him a unique Mets licensing deal for NY Mets merchandise. There is so much more to the story and it is all in Part 1 and Part 2 of Episode 126 of The BMX In Our Blood. BMX and Motocross are huge in Darren's story and are exactly what I was looking for. Darren puts it all together explaining how BMX started it all for him and how if not for BMX he wouldn't be where he is today because of Manmade BMX and BMX in general.
