Before starting stand up, Paul was a teacher and college professor. Curently he resides in the San Fernando Valley, his hometown. Paul recorded a comedy special for VidAngel in 2017 and his album "Guys Like You and Me" was released in 2018. Paul recorded a popular Drybar special that is available on YouTube called “It’s Hard Being Fat in Los Angeles” and has since dropped a lot of the weight he talked about in that special.
