Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Ecclesiastes 3:11 Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee. -Psalms 143:8 DEVOTION Based on Psalm 143:8 The psalmist asks for morning to bring word of God's unfailing love. He knows that how we begin shapes everything that follows. But notice the reason: for I have put my trust in you. Trust opens our ears to hear love's message. Each morning, God sends fresh bulletins of His unfailing love—in His Word, in creation, in quiet whispers to our hearts. When anxiety tries to dictate the day's narrative, we need to hear a different story. Show me the way I should go—this is not just about direction but about daily dependence. Every morning is an opportunity to realign our hearts with His love. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Lord, You are the God whose love never fails, whose mercies are new every morning. You faithfully speak love over us with each sunrise. CONFESSION: I confess I often rush into my day without listening for Your love. I have let anxiety's voice drown out Your morning message. THANKSGIVING: Thank You that Your unfailing love is not silent but speaks. Thank You for being trustworthy with my whole heart. I am grateful that You care about showing me the way I should go. SUPPLICATION: Father, help me to slow down each morning to hear Your love. Quiet anxiety's clamor so I can hear Your gentle whispers. Show me the way to walk today, step by step. Let Your unfailing love be the first truth I embrace each morning. PRAYER “He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.” ECCLESIASTES 3:11 Dear Lord, You have set eternity in the hearts of all mankind. We are but a mist that appears for a little time and then disappears, yet You remain ever faithful. In this fleeting life, Youprovide us with moments of joy and sorrow, as well as laughter and sighing. We bear the burden of mortality with grace and understanding, for You have promised a hope that will never fade. May we look to You in this life, trusting in Your unfailing love and tender mercy. On the days we feel weak and faithless, remind us of Your good works and compassionate deeds. Help us to remember that even though our life is brief, it has worth and meaning, and that You have given us a purpose to fulfill.
