My friend Gerry returns to the show to discuss Baudrillard, symbolic exchange, potlatch, Baudrillard's critique of capitalism, and the real versus the hyperreal.  We interrogate Baudrillard's claim that the Gulf War Did Not Happen, integral reality, and the unipolar system. Baudrillard argues that all life that doesn't conform to the system becomes a threat.  We end the conversation debating the importance of the fatal strategy and the act of resistance that seeks to overwhelm the System.
