My last episode for a month or so (I'm taking a pod break in April) where I share my reflections post being struck down by the lurgy over the last couple of weeks. I unpack how my choice to clear the decks and come back to MYSELF has reminded me how essential it is to choose OURSELVES as Mums. NOT just when the sh*t hits the fan or you're teetering on the edge of burnout, but in day to day life on an ongoing basis. In this episode I explain why abandoning our own wants, needs and wellbeing as Mums is no good for anybody (especially you), however profoundly our guilt might strike or however ingrained our people pleasing habits might be.
