In this episode, I speak with the Author of the recent book; 'The UFO Paradox: The Celestial and Symbolic World of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena'... Keith Thompson. This incredible book chronicles his own investigations into the UFO mystery, and how he developed a very unique perspective on the experience. As his story unfolds, he details how he introduced the late Harvard psychiatrist John Mack to accounts of alien abduction and how he was invited by philanthropist Laurence S. Rockefeller to lobby the American President at the time to disclose government-held UFO information. Sharing stories from his friendship with astronaut Edgar D. Mitchell, among others, the book recounts discussions on how best to interpret UFOs and non-ordinary phenomena of various kinds. Our discussion dives and weaves into all aspects of the UFO experience, the nature of abductions, who the ET's may be, and the role the compound DMT may play in communicating with these beings. Thompson reveals how the UFO phenomenon ultimately represents a call from the cosmos for humanity to open to greater dimensions of reality and recognize that our understanding of the universe is still far from complete.
