Sarafian's Vanishing Point, a counterculture cult classic about a man barrelling down the road at breakneck speeds in an iconic white Dodge Challenger. Over the course of our conversation we touch on the unique qualities of the film's main character played by Barry Newman, obsess over the film's vibes and its music and cut into the social commentary running beneath its narrative.
