" Dr. Marc Wayne Urquhart hails from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Upon graduating from Nicolet High School as the Louis Menze Student Athlete Scholar, he attended Iowa State University as a George Washington Carver Scholar. There he earned a full 4-year tuition with room, board, and an academic scholarship. Dr. Urquhart walked-on the Cyclone varsity basketball team as a freshman and participated all 4 years serving as co-captain his senior year. He holds the distinction of the first recorded triple double in ISU basketball history. He also received Academic All Big 8 Conference honors. Upon graduating ISU with honors, he attended the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine with Scott Postgraduate Scholarships from the Big 8 Conference and the NCAA. In his 20+ years of practice he has served as chief of orthopedics at 2 New Jersey hospitals.
