Episode 235 features an interview with Sophie Negrini of Los Angeles’ Janelane. Back in April, Janelane released their long-awaited debut full-length, Love Letters. The record was over a decade in the making, collecting songs that have origins in the mid-2010s, and showcasing Negrini’s expert ability at crafting love songs that are equal parts cutting, dreamy, and poppy. During the interview, Sophie and Tom chatted about the project’s teenage origins, its hiatus and eventual reemergence in 2020, and the evolution of its sound over the last decade. Plus, Sophie picked some awesome records from Bob Dylan, Big Star, and Guided By Voices! Check them out via the official playlist for Episode 235. Love Letters is out now via Kingfisher Bluez! You can purchase a copy on limited edition vinyl via Bandcamp. Keep up with Janelane via Instagram. Janelane will be performing live on Friday, August 16th at Genghis Cohen in Los Angeles. Mirrorball and Fleur Bleu•e are also on the bill. Tickets are available via Dice.FM.

Spiwak Audio Presents Christopher Spiwak I listen to music all the time and love talking about it with people who also love these albums. This podcast doesn't include the actual music, nor is it a real "record review". I'm just taking a nostalgic look back at my favorite records and how these particular albums have shaped our lives. Nearer My Pod Triple Crown Records Nearer My Pod is an in-depth look at the making of new Foxing record "Nearer My God." It includes conversation with Conor Murphy, Eric Hudson, album producer Chris Walla and is hosted by Dan Ozzi (Noisey). I don't just play the same tired old 80s songs you can hear anywhere - I throw in some long forgotten classics, celebrate 80s celebrity birthdays reviving their classic hits, and even acknowledge that SOME 80s records were just terrible - in The Song That Should Never Have Been Born.Listen live at www.ReachOnAir.com (check the website schedule page for days and times), or just look for the full show on here after broadcast!Check out my website and get in touch at www.RememberThe80s.co.uk. After doing local pub gigs and party's he and a close friend secured their own event in Sunderland City centre at "independent" nightclub. After a break from it all due to work and a new born, Danny decided to give it all a go again in 2019 and secured a few slots at rave events close to his hometime, in a short space of time Danny managed to secure his spot in room 2 to main stages at lots of events, he also had his own house & dance music event in Sunderland for years and other residencies in the North East playing everything from house, dance, tech house to M
