0:00 Intros and what we’re into 12:00 Falcon and The Winter Soldier - First Impressions  21:50 Star Wars Roundtable     25:16 Obi-Wan    39:50 Andor    47:47 Taika Waititi’s Star Wars #StopAsianHate. Because of a terrible shooting and other extreme violence committed against Asian-Americans that have been covered by the media recently, it may seem like there’s a recent increase in anti-asian racism. But that’s not the case - there is an increase in the discussion but not the racism. Overwhelmingly, the Asian and Asian-american community has said that Asian stories don’t get picked up and reported on by non-asian news sources, and that they feel invisible and silenced. We can all do our part to stand up against anti-asian racism and stop asian hate, but to also make the asian community feel seen and heard. Uplift Asian voices, share Asian posts on social media, and very importantly reach out to members of the Asian community you know - check in, ask how they’re doing; again, make them feel seen and heard.  And if you see something, say something - complacency and silence are just as bad as the violent offenses. Find and donate to #stopasianhate and anti anti-asian racism causes. We can all do our part and it’s up to all of us.  Episode 25: This episode, we’re going back to our roots - we talk mostly about Star Wars!!! We discuss our levels of anticipation, excitement, or indifference for three of the new Star Wars announcements!; one for each of us to be excited about - plus a wild card host! Obi-Wan: What story would we like to see told? Will we get a combination action/adventure and coming-to-terms, emotional journey? Has WandaVision made anyone (one of the hosts) expect a more dynamic range of storytelling from properties like this?  Andor: Who among us is excited for this one? What could we learn 5 years before the events of Rogue One? What’s the point if there’s no K2SO? Plus, Joey does a quick synopsis of Rogue One for Dr. Lorelei! Taika Waititi’s Star Wars: Basically, this is slated for 2025, so we have no business talking about it. But it’s fun to speculate and since we’re all familiar with Waititi’s work, it’s fun to think about what kind of Star Wars movie he would create. This part’s super fun - don’t miss it! As usual, we have a surprise question - this time from a listener - so stick around until the end! Thanks for listening! We would really like to know how people who are listening feel about the show so, if you could/want to, drop us a line @kryptonalderaan or at [email protected].
