Explicit Chai Chats Podcast DJ Gangan Welcome to Chai Chats, where the chai is real and so is the chat! I eat a lot. Maybe 3000-5000 calories a day when I'm on vacation (pretty much the last 6 months of my life). As well, the culinary field is one of my favorite things in the world because of its artistic, creative and delicious nature ... but, all these Instagram/FB pics of the perfect food all have a deep story. As I've been traveling to many countries, I've sat down with various chefs, restaurants, managers, etc and learned about their stories. These stories are about people giving up their lives and hyperfocusing on one thing: being successful in the culinary world. In these chats, we'll learn about four things on each episode: 1) history about the restaurant and my favorite dishes there, 2) background about the interviewee, 3) defining moments - think make it or break it moments, 4) one piece of advice to new chefs. Let's dig in! Explicit Project 35 Jim Kleiber Write for 10 minutes, 3 times per day, for 35 straight days. THE RULES: 1) Live broadcast each session on Zoom Webinar and record it so that people know you wrote extemporaneously. 2) Set a timer for 10 minutes and start writing. When the timer ends, whatever is written is the finished entry that will go into the book—only style and formatting can be adapted; all grammar, typos, and unfinished sentences will remain exactly as they are. 3) After writing, record yourself reading the text in one take. Whatever is recorded is the finished product that will go into the audiobook—only audio levels can be adapted; all ums, ahs, and mess-ups will remain exactly as they are. 4) Set a timer for 1 minute and write a title for the piece. When the timer ends, whatever is written is the finished title that will go into the book for that piece. 5) Do this in the morning, afternoon, and evening, for 35 consecutive days. 6) At the end, compile the writings and audio recordings into a book and audiobook Explicit
