Episode 28: Children of a Blended Family (Part 5)... with Abbie!

from Tru Life Balance · host Tiffany Lancaster

Join us as we interview Brad's oldest child Abbie Clark about what it was like for her to grow up as a child of divorce and then eventually join our blended family. Abbie is 27 years old but Brad and her mom went through their divorce when she was only 12. Abbie relieves some of her most traumatic events of that divorce and gives her perspective. This divorce was compounded by the fact that Brad was excommunicated from their church and was going through a crisis of faith at the same time. Abbie expresses her confustion from her pre-teen perspective watching her dad stop believing in the same basic principles and values that he taught her for her entire life. This is a heartfelt episode full of healing and vulnerability. We are so grateful Abbie came on our share and was brave and willing to share her perspective of the hardest, most confusing part of her life. Abbie, thank you so much for sharing! Abbie is an Instagram influencer where she shares her challenges with infertility, be sure to give her a follow link below.
