Episode 29- Waluigi Dies In Darkness

from Hog Planet · host Hog Planet

This week we saw a taste of how depraved and disturbed this administration is when it comes to its immigration policy, namely its recently-rescinded family separation procedures and still-active tent city concentration camps. We’ll put this in some context and see what our politicians and pundits had to say about these atrocities. If this is something you feel strongly about, you’re probably a sensible human being with something similar to a soul, and you can find some links to organizations combating this epidemic, like Raices, sanctuary dmv, and the Whitman walker health center in the show notes below. To lighten things up, we’re spending more than half of the show on pop culture this week. Well start off with a discussion of the possession horror tour de force that is Hereditary, and then move to a different sort of family horror with Netflix’s half-baked true crime documentary series The Staircase. For story time, Dan will describe how his attempt to sneak into the horrendous crime thriller Gotti, starring John Travolta, was thwarted by a Times Square disciplinarian. And of course, we’ll weigh in on what truly matters in this day and age, the great Waluigi debate. We specialize in unpacking the nuances of what is considered sacred and profane, particularly focusing on sex, death, and all that pertains to the circle of life. Our aim in focusing on such ”taboo” subject matter is to demystify what is unconscious, bring to light what has been known for centuries as ”the occult,” and empower the rapid transformation that is occurring on the Planet.
