Episode 4

A longer excursion in three parts, this mixtape was recorded live in the summer of '09 but it remains one of my favorites. We start with a brief intro by "Niyaz", a short interlude from "the Fort Knox Five leading seamlessly into a longer track called "small town in your eyes" by the Lush life project. From there "Shulman" Picks it up and "Suicide Sports Club" lays it down. Thus begins the second part with a duel intro by "Sounds From The Ground" and Green Isac Culminating with one of my favorite breaks: a track called "Kool it Man". "Populus" and "Beats Antique" both back up Alice Russel's version of "Crazy". Finally Shahrokh Yadegari adds a nice ambient pad under Cara Dillon singing "the Winding River Roe" as a track titled "Ja Vidi" amps up the final set, getting out of control with "disco lies"(the Dusty Kids Remix). Beats Antique, Minilogue, and Bedrock all finish it up. not before Sia "Colours the small one."
