Miguel Albuquerque rejeitou demitir-se, depois de o Chega ter apresentado uma moção de censura que deve contar com o voto favorável do PS e levar à queda do líder do Governo Regional da Madeira. Caso a moção seja aprovada, Albuquerque só admite o cenário de eleições antecipadas, excluindo ser substituído por outro membro do PSD. Não será “através de golpes partidários que o PSD alguma vez entregará o Governo”, disse neste sábado. A Região Autónoma da Madeira ficará num impasse político com eleições todos os anos?
