fabian 30th bday invite

from DJ Noël - Classic House Archive · host mixed by dj noël

So, Paul and I were inseparable best buddies for through ‘99-’01, so when his lovely partner, Fabian, asked me to dj at his 30th, it was a pleasure. We spent a few nights in Soho in January looking for the perfect venue and decided upon what used to Buddah Bar on Frith Street. The party invite was a 30 minute CD, for which I spent a whole afternoon burning 100 discs. The attached mix is that invite, introduced by Fabian, who recorded his voice over in the Kiss 100 studios.Of course, the night itself (6 March) rocked. I took my old sound system down and we turned the quiet bar into a sweat box. After the party, the owners of the bar made me their Saturday night dj. I kept it up through the summer for the cash, but they wanted me to play more mellow lounge house music, so it got a bit boring. Enjoy the mix.Fabian’s birthday invite.Tweet - boogie remixsoul II soul - back to life bootlegsoulsearcher - feelin’ love part onemichelle weeks - the light morera re-editdr kucho - stings track???grant nelson feat mica paris - bodyswervemartin solveig - rockin’ musicpointer sisters - automatic bootleg34.5 MB standard mp3 file 160kbps
