Após lançar o Ray-Ban Stories, o Facebook deu o primeiro passo na construção do metaverso nas redes da empresa. Os usuários do aparelho poderão gravar, fotografar, realizar ligações e navegar on-line sem depender de máquinas maiores, como computadores e celulares. Apesar dos esforços do Facebook, é trabalhoso criar uma plataforma complexa como essa, o que cria oportunidades para implementação de tecnologias de terceiros.
