Fear Of The Afterglow (from our New Wave / Post-Punk Compilation Album, 2016). Influences on this track: The Beatles, The Police, Queens of the Stone Age, Iggy Pop (The Passenger). This is a 2015 new wave / post punk compilation album featuring Junebug songs. It is mostly upbeat power chord-based guitar songs with synths and organs on the top. The songs are quite fast-paced, melodic and catchy. Our influences included bands / artists such as The Cars, Elvis Costello, The Jam, The Buzzcocks, Joy Division, The Police, The Ramones, The Stranglers, Blondie, The Clash, Talking Heads, Joe Jackson, The Knack, Nick Lowe, Gary Numan, The Undertones, The Teardrop Explodes. A cross-section of the New Wave / Post-punk music spectrum.
