In this episode Mikey Jayy of KGUP PRESENTS, we met up with Director, Producer, and Actress Amy Campione to talk about her latest project called, "Snares of the Devil" and talk about the Television and Film Industry during the time of Covid-19.  "Snares of the Devil" caught our attention as she was the recipient of the Filmaka "Trapped" Web Series competition and was subsequently funded into a 10 episode short form series. The series is out now on Filmaka and can also be watched on YouTube!  About Amy Campione In 2017 Amy’s first feature film, “American Girl” which she not only produced and directed, was released on Amazon Prime, Xbox, iTunes and Google Play. “American Girl” was an Official Selection for the LA Femme International Film Festival, holding its World Premiere at Regal Cinemas at LA LIVE in downtown Los Angeles. The film took home the award for “Best Feature Producer.” The film also screened around the country including at the Chicago International Movies and Music Festival (CIMMFest). Amy's body of work over the last couple of years has lead her to being named one of Del Weston's “Top 100 Indie Filmmakers of 2015”. She was then selected for and participated in the 2016/2017 Women in Film Mentorship Program which aims at nurturing emerging talent in the entertainment industry. In 2018, Amy was also selected for and participated in Ryan Murphy’s HALF Foundation Directing Mentorship Program. Amy is currently based in Los Angeles.
