Fr. Nathan catches up with previous guest Manuel Guzman to discuss his latest projects in Superior, Arizona, and the tradition of Día de los Muertos.Manuel “Manny” Guzman is the Executive Director of Rebuild Superior, Inc., a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in rural Pinal County serving Superior, AZ. He is a seventh-generation Superiorite and has over 25 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, ranging from behavioral health prevention, youth mentoring, and faith-based initiatives. Guzman has extensive grant writing and bookkeeping experience, is skilled in event and program management as well as building out donor and volunteer engagement strategies.Manny attended the University of Arizona and graduated with a degree in Religious Studies and Business Administration. He is a member of the Arizona Association for Economic Development, represents the organization through the Arizona Food Bank Network, and also sits on the Board of Directors for the Tucson International Mariachi Conference.
