Finding Your Voice: Coaching with Kimmy

from Charisma Quotient: Build Confidence, Make Connections and Find Love

Is your voice not as strong as you would like it to be? Do you find yourself bending over backward to please others, while pushing your own needs and desires to the side? In this LIVE episode of Coaching with Kimmy, you'll meet Debra who's venturing back into the dating world after leaving an 18-year marriage. She is working on finding her voice and letting go of people-pleasing behaviors so that she can stop attracting controlling and narcissistic kinds of men.   EPISODE 217 of The Charisma Quotient Podcast is titled: Finding Your Voice:  Coaching With Kimmy   Debra decided to do a live coaching session on the podcast with Kimmy in order to seek strategies to find her voice and around creating a dating plan to attract the kind of partner who's right for this season of her life. Kimmy starts off by acknowledging that finding your voice and the strength to demand what you deserve is the first skill to learn to date smarter this time around. If you find yourself apologizing often (and for no good reason!), consistently attracting lopsided relationships with narcissists or fixer-uppers or feeling responsible for the emotions of others, this episode is for you. Debra shares some insight into the patterns she tends to fall into in relationships, connecting back to her upbringing as the middle child seeking approval, validation and praise from her parents. You'll hear about some of the challenges Debra has encountered in meeting and dating guys while she determines what qualities she wants and the ones she wants to avoid. Kimmy stresses the importance of getting rid of Debra's ex-husband's hold on her and ways to set boundaries for her and her family.  Kimmy then shares some tangible strategies of how to raise your self-worth including the key questions to ask to discern what you want before considering what someone else wants, the impact of enriching your social life and the benefits of learning how to just "date" while not getting attached to the outcome. Listen in at the end where Kimmy gets Debra (and to her own surprise) to find her voice right here on this episode!   If this show resonated with you and you're ready to stop hiding your voice and date with confidence, get in touch with Kimmy and book a time to talk here: https://meetme.so/kimbreakthrough And, if you are getting back out there in the dating world later in life and want to learn how to date to attract the right partner, feel desirable and flirt and have fun, you can put your name down now to attend Kimmy's new program, How to Date in Your 40s, 50s and 60s!
