Luke Tyburski is an ex professional footballer and adventure athlete who has completed some gruelling challenges including the Marathon Des Sables and The Ultimate Triathlon which Luke devised himself, which took him from Morocco to Monaco totalling 2000km in 12 days. Luke is also a published author and his book Chasing Extreme is his autobiography detailing his journey, his struggles and successes. Luke kindly sent me a signed copy of his book and I have just started reading it. He also has 2 documentaries on Amazon Prime - The Ultimate Triathlon and 500 Man, showcasing his challenges. In this episode: Luke's story from a professional soccer player to adventure athlete and a body breakdown, meeting his wife Vanda, which turned his life around from battling with his mental health, binge eating, suicidal tendencies, depression and insomnia to living his dream life.
