My reaction to this game is that LSU's College Football Playoff hopes are as good as dead, while Florida State is in complete control of its own destiny. Wide receiver Keon Coleman had the game of his life as he collected 3 receiving touchdowns and 9 receptions. Quarterbacks Jordan Travis and Jayden Daniels each had high and low moments, but Travis proved himself to be the better quarterback in the end. The LSU Tigers have many holes to patch, but they have a stable, great head coach in Brian Kelly and a well-recruited roster to stage a comeback. Like any Week 1 matchup, there cannot be much analysis because each team has only played one game, however, Florida State appears to be a higher quality team than I expected, and with Clemson as the only obvious roadblock, the Seminoles are inching closer to a return to the College Football Playoff.
