Matt Le Tissier is best known for his attacking midfield position at Southampton, a club he remained with his whole career and being the 1st midfielder to score 100 premier league goals. Married with 3 children, Matt was born in Guernsey and started football from the age of 7 when he played for Vale Recreation until he was 16 when he debuted for Southampton. Even though he was approached to play for clubs like Liverpool and Tottenham he openly admits he liked being a big fish in a small pond and his loyalty to Southampton stopped him moving on for bigger money and fame.
