This program provides hands-on experience, mentorship, and insight into a career in firefighting. Two student participants, Vi French (a Lakeridge High School junior) and Aidan Shannon (a Lake Oswego High School senior), discuss their experiences. From emergency response training to leadership development, they share what they’ve learned, their challenges, and how this program shapes their future aspirations.
