Clockwise General News — A devastating mass shooting in Shreveport, Louisiana, has left eight children dead, marking the deadliest such event in over two years. This is Clockwise general news, 6 AM Eastern. The gunman, identified as 31-year-old Shamar Elkins, fatally shot seven of his own children and another child, also wounding his wife. He died after a police pursuit. The Supreme Court has agreed to hear a pivotal case regarding Catholic preschools excluded from a state-funded program.
