GITM 51: The Rolling Girls - A Messy Moe Adventure! | An Analysis & Review
from Get In The Mecha
The Rolling Girls (2015) is an anime that I have mixed feelings about, mostly because it performs very well in some areas but (in my opinion) poorly in others. This made me think quite strongly about the idea of ‘premises’ and whether a ‘good’ one genuinely exists. In this episode I discuss what I dislike about the story as a whole, in contrast to it’s individual episodes, what made it a strong production to begin with & how the show (despite my personal gripes) was still relaxing to watch. On the side I talk about my experience so far with the Kara no Kyoukai: Garden of Sinners film series. If you’re new to the podcast, welcome to Get In The Mecha Season 1 (2nd Cour)!
