In time past, engraving was the most permanent form of inscription, not written in ink that could be washed away, but cut into the material forever. God has built the memory of you into the very structure of who He is. Every time He moves, He sees you. Your strengths, weaknesses, sacrifices, tears, fears and prayers are continually before Him.Many people conclude from seasons of silence that God has forgotten them. But silence is not absence; it is the space between a promise made and a promise kept. The God who has engraved you on His palms does not forget between the request and the answer. He is not unaware of what you are carrying. He sees it, He holds it, and He is working on it in ways that have not yet become visible to you.Today, reject every voice that tells you God has forgotten you. Bring the specific areas of your life that have felt most abandoned before Him and rest in the truth that you are inscribed on His hands. His silence over your situation is not neglect; it is preparation.
