GRACE TO OVERCOME SIN AND TEMPTATION

from The Kingdom Of God First Podcast. · host Tewe Kolade Felix

Scripture “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9 Devotional Message: Temptation often exposes human weakness, but it also reveals the power of God’s grace. Grace is God’s divine help given to you to stand when your strength feels insufficient. You were never meant to overcome sin by willpower alone—God provides grace as your strength. Grace reminds you that you are no longer controlled by your past nature. In Christ, you have been given a new identity and new power. When temptation comes, grace equips you to resist, endure, and choose righteousness. It gives you clarity in moments of pressure and courage in moments of weakness. Even if you have fallen before, grace assures you that failure is not final. It restores you, renews you, and strengthens your resolve to keep moving forward. Every victory over temptation begins with depending on God, not yourself. As you walk daily with Him, grace trains your heart, aligns your desires, and empowers you to live a life that honors God. Today, Ask Yourself Am I depending on God’s grace in moments of temptation, or relying only on my own strength? Prayer Almighty Father, thank You for Your grace that strengthens me in weakness. Help me to overcome every temptation and live in the freedom You have given me. Teach me to depend on You daily. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
