Guest Interview with Shohini BanerjeePioneering Undiscovered Territories in Science - Coffee Time with Kauffman - Guest Interview with Shohini BanerjeeShohini Banerjee is a second-year Ph.D. student and Clark Doctoral Fellow at the University of Maryland in the Bioengineering department. Working in Dr. Stroka’s Cell and Microenvironment Engineering Lab, her current research focuses on how a family of water channel proteins is involved in the progression of a painful women’s disease called endometriosis. Prior to starting her Ph.D. work, she completed her bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering at Penn State University.
