Working in Dr. Stroka’s Cell and Microenvironment Engineering Lab, her current research focuses on how a family of water channel proteins is involved in the progression of a painful women’s disease called endometriosis. Prior to starting her Ph.D. work, she completed her bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering at Penn State University. As a part of the Schreyer Honors College, she graduated with honors after finishing her thesis on engineering artificial tissues.
