One of the most empowering aspects of cyclical living in tune with the seasons is how many different opportunities we have to make "new year's resolutions." In mainstream society, we're expected to have it all figured out by January 1st - And if we miss that deadline to get our lives together, we've somehow "failed." But that's so unnatural and unrealistic! The Spring Equinox (also known as the Astrological New year) can be a much more natural (and POWERFUL) time to truly step into the next chapter of our lives.

The days are longer, Nature is waking up and the astrological energy is so much more supportive of actually taking bigger steps toward our goals and desires... Not to mention that we've already had the first quarter of the solar year to feel into any resolutions we may have made back at the Winter Solstice - So we're so much more clear on our intentions and grounded in the inspired action we're most aligned with taking.

In honor of the Astrological New Year, I invite you to join me for this video where I'm sharing my astro-new-year prompt that's normally exclusive to paid members - Along with a reading of my own response to the prompt and a ramble about what it's really like to set intentions on a cyclical basis.

It is meant to be inspirational to those that want to learn to write as well as be fun for those who want to experience the creative process. On my Twitch channel, I talk through my thoughts as I write a novel. In my podcast, I take a story idea and write it while outlining the process out loud. In both cases, it is very similar to Bob Ross and The Joy of Painting, and that's obviously not an accident. For those who want to be writers, I hope this inspires you to immerse yourself in the writing process. Most writing lectures and books simply explain the rules and the guidelines.
