Harnessing the Power in Curiosity | How Asking Questions (Unapologetically), Ignites Your Creativity There is power in asking, "Why?" While for many of us, it can feel risky to make our lack of knowledge in a given area known. Whether we feel like we are competing, being evaluated for our know how, it's hard to see the end justifying the means in asking the question, "Why?" Many of us would rather smile and nod in a show of agreement, mental noting the evening google search we will do, when we go back home. While a Google search is fine, there is a lot that gets missed when we miss out on the dialogue that asking our questions create. Often it is in asking why that we realize our systems could improve, our processes could use a refresh, and enable others to see the synchronicities as well as the gaps in their own knowledge and expertise. All significant and impactful change started off with trying to answer a question. Whether that translated as solving a problem, or idea generating potential solutions.
