Have you met Katherine Leroux from Future Female Magazine?

from Have You Met Her Yet? · host Lindsay Dent

In this week's episode, we feature Founder of Future Female Magazine, Katherine Leroux.Being diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome at the age of 16, it was only until she was in her late twenties and trying to conceive when she realized how serious her condition was. With a lack of Canadian resources for women dealing with PCOS, she created an Instagram profile to meet other women facing the same condition. After going through fertility treatments for two years, and meeting other women dealing with infertility - she realized the commonality for how women feel alone in their struggles and are hesitant to share. It wasn't only about Kat's PCOS anymore, this was a much wider problem and that is how Future Female Magazine was born. Her goal was to help create a platform for women to share their struggles, doubts and raw stories on topics such as Mental Illness, Cancer and Physical Disabilities. Future Female magazine is a self-care forum that is carried on by a theme chosen by Kat and Managing Editor Sara for each bi-annual issue with the hopes that we can gather our writers to share useful resources and information that can help you along in your journey! If you enjoyed this episode, please subscribe, rate, review and share it with a friend who you think might enjoy it too! HostLindsay Dent, Founder & Creative Director of Pink Crown Creative  @_lindsaydent & @pinkcrowncreativeEmail [email protected] for sponsor opportunities, guest appearances or collaborations.Guest Kat Leroux@futurefemalemag @lifewithmyemery www.futurefemalemag.comEpisode References Episode ResourcesUse promo code "CREATIVITYANDLOVE" to receive $25 your next Creative Strategy Hour Booking with Pink Crown Creative Artwork RD DesignMusic"Happy Days" by scottholmesmusic.comLet's get social!Instagram: @haveyoumetheryetseries FacebookWishing you Creativity & Love. Managing Next Generation Energy Systems Cambridge University Background Stakeholders working with energy systems have to make complex decisions formulated from risk-based assessments about the future. The move towards more renewables in our energy systems complicates matters even further, requiring the development of an integrated power grid and continuous and steady transformation of the UK power system. Network flows must be managed reliably under uncertain demands, uncertain supply, emerging network technologies and possible failures and, further, prices in related markets can be highly volatile. Mathematicians working with engineers and economists, can make significant contributions to address such issues, by helping to develop fit-for-purpose models for next generation energy systems. These interdisciplinary approaches are looking to address a range of associated problems, including modelling, prediction, simulation, control, market and mechanism design and optimisation.
