Alan Franzluebbers will discuss ways to increase soil health. Alan is a Research Ecologist with the USDA Agricultural Research Service in Raleigh, North Carolina. His research focuses on soil ecology and management for the development of more sustainable agricultural systems, along with multi-species cover cropping, agroforestry, integrated crop-livestock systems, nitrogen management, and conservation-tillage cropping. He is also the co-director of the Southeast Regional Climate Hub.
