HEARING GOD’S VOICE!

Scripture: “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.” — John 10:27 (NKJV) Message: As believers, we are called to recognize and follow the voice of our Good Shepherd, Jesus. In a world filled with noise, distractions, and competing influences, discerning God’s voice is essential to walking in His will and purpose. God speaks to us in different ways—through His Word, the Holy Spirit, godly counsel, and even the circumstances around us. However, hearing Him requires a heart that is willing to listen. Just as sheep recognize their shepherd’s voice through constant relationship, we grow in hearing God by spending time in prayer, meditating on Scripture, and being sensitive to His leading. Many struggle with knowing if they are truly hearing from God. The key is to test everything against His Word. God’s voice will always align with His truth, bring peace, and lead us closer to Him. When we seek Him sincerely, He promises to guide us in the right direction. Today, ask yourself: Am I making time to hear God’s voice, or is my life too noisy with distractions? How can I cultivate a deeper awareness of His leading? What steps can I take to ensure I am following His voice and not my own desires? Prayer: Almighty Father, help me to recognize and follow Your voice above all others. Remove any distractions or doubts that keep me from hearing You clearly. Teach me to be still in Your presence, to seek You through Your Word, and to walk in obedience to Your guidance. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
