When it comes to owning our space, sometimes we may find ourselves shrinking back. Maybe it’s because we fear failing and being hurt, we lack bravery, or are too comfortable.  On the other end of the spectrum, sometimes we can swell within our space. We find ourselves stepping over the lines of our space and into the sphere of someone else’s.  Think about it this way: you show up to a theater to watch a play. The seats are assigned and you sit in the wrong seat. Not only are you taking up someone else’s space, but you are missing out on your own. Sound familiar?  Knowing who you are, who you are not, where you start, and where you end is incredibly powerful when it comes to discovering (and living out) your God-given purpose.  Let us encourage you: You don’t need to be the one that fills all the spaces.
