Wing Commander Karun 'Jumbo' Majumdar is a legend of Indian Aviation. Joining the Indian Air Force in the 1930s, Jumbo would be the second Indian to command an active-duty squadron before his leadership and airmanship would be put to the test as the Second World War reached India.
