Holy Rest & Holy Hustle

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.” — Proverbs 16:3Sis, I’ve learned that sometimes I confuse my worth with my work. I go and go, thinking if I hustle hard enough, I’ll finally feel enough. But the truth is—God didn’t design me to live drained. He calls me to holy rest and holy hustle, both surrendered to Him.Rest is not weakness. It’s worship. It’s saying, “God, I trust You enough to pause.”Hustle is not striving. It’s stewardship. It’s saying, “God, I’ll give You my best with what You’ve placed in my hands.”As women of faith, we need both. Rest without hustle leaves dreams dormant. Hustle without rest leaves us empty. But when we balance both in God’s rhythm of grace, we walk in purpose without losing our peace.✨ Journal Prompt:Where in my life do I need to slow down and trust God with rest? Where is God asking me to rise up and give Him my best hustle?Prayer:Lord, help me release the guilt of resting and the pressure of over-hustling. Teach me the rhythm of grace—resting in You and working through You. May my life reflect balance, strength, and surrender. Amen.
