How Do We Worship God in His Wrath? (Revelation 15-16)

from Joy in Christ Church · host Joy in Christ Church

Over and over again in the book of Revelation—in seals and trumpets and visions and bowls—we are seeing the wrath of God toward sin and the judgment of God toward sinners being graphically and frighteningly portrayed and illustrated. We think of God as full of love and mercy and kindness and compassion, and He is full of all these things. But as a result, we have a very hard time thinking of God as also being full of wrath. And, on a whole other level, what about worshiping God for His wrath? As God pours out justice and wrath upon sin and sinners, as imagery of unbelievers being tormented fills these chapters, how are we supposed to worship? Join us as we continue in our #RevelationSeries and look into Revelation 15-16.
